Education

A lifelong Maryland resident, Joseph Karsner began his education at the prestigious St. Anthony of Padua primary school in Baltimore, MD. He continued his Catholic education at Archbishop Curley High School (also in Baltimore), where he was active in team sports, playing junior varsity baseball in 1972 and 1973. Mr. Karsner also played junior varsity basketball in 1972 and varsity from 1973-1978. In 1974 he was voted most valuable player by his basketball teammates. That same year, he made the Catholic League All Star Team.

In 1975, during his senior year, Karsner made the National Honor Society graduating in the top half of his class. Upon graduation he enrolled at Towson State University in Towson, Maryland. Four years later, in 1979, Karsner graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science, and began his career in financial advising.
