On April 1st of 1999, after 19 years of working for John Hancock, Joseph Karsner opened the doors to Joe Karsner & Associates his own insurance and financial advising agency. Located in Gambrills, MD, Joe Karsner & Associates provides financial services and insurance solutions to a diverse array of clientele. Joseph Karsner serves not only as an advisor and broker, but as owner and president of the company. His responsibilities include day to day operations of the business, which consists of bringing in new clients, searching for new business relationships and providing customer service to current clients.
Mr. Karsner is constantly looking out for his clients’ best interests—whether those interests are making sure their money is safe and secure, that their money is passed on in the most tax efficient way, or introducing them to new financial prospects that might gain a greater return for their investments.
In addition to Joseph Karsner & Associates, Mr. Karsner is also the founder of JK Properties, a joint venture with Dr. Kathryn Hodges which was created in 1999 and Karsner Tax Advisory Group, which with the help of the groups highly qualified specialists helps to bring clients tax rates down so that they may keep more of their pre-tax income each month.
